This gave me an idea for a rapture related business to scam- errr, provide for christians.
Thinking about this, should us who won’t be getting air-lifted to heaven be allowing these Christian types to hold certain jobs. If they could just evaporate at any minute should we be allowing them to be taxi drivers, airplane...
Shocked and pleasantly surprised...
Well I posted a thread on Sacred Mists about the errors I found in the lesson…the arch priestess herself responded and said she’d be in touch about correcting some of them. I am shocked, a little tickled I think, and I’ve become more impressed with this school because of this. Very interesting I think!!!
And here's the fluff....
So the lesson at Sacred Mists appears as though no research was done at all. She’s claiming we know what Paleolithic people believed (which we don’t), that the Venus statuettes are goddesses (only one archaeological interpretation; there are many more), that no male depictions are found as old as the Venuses (which is ironic because I found in various books artifacts OLDER than the...
Sacred Mists
Time to review Sacred Mists priestess training course. So far so good; I just compelted the ridiculous introductory lesson which was about knowing the site, the student councel, who to contact. The best thing about them is that they are definately not fluffy, and they genuinely seem to care about their students. I haven’t got into the meat of the program yet, so more to follow. I am also...
Blah what to do: edit
So the bf and I sat down and actually talked about the situation. He agrees with me that she needs to make sure she’s doing this for the right reasons, not because her friends are LDS and just got baptized…which I think it is. I think she wants to be like her friends and be popular and she equates this with that. But, as I am not fully her family, I wont’ say anything. I did talk...

A World Full of Gods, An Inquiry into Polytheism by John Michael Greer
The Logic of Polytheism A folklore researcher comes to the village one day, knocks on the door of the first house and asks the householder about his belief in feline entities. “Of course, I believe in Cat,” comes the answer. “There is one Cat, who is a tabby with blue eyes. I was taught about Cat by my...
Fashion Fever
Well I just ordered from Gloomth, Retroscope, and Arsenic. Shipping estimates vary, but for the most part they should ship out within the week…review to follow. I do so love fashion. Heavy Red will have to wait, even though they have a gorgeous waist cincher that’s too die for. Im such a fashion geek. I’m totally in to this corset thing. Blah blah blah I know the whole feminist...

Blah, what to do?
So I have a dilemma. My bf’s little sister wants to get baptized mormon, after only one meeting with the missionaries. Lady missionaries mind you. How sexist can they be? I was under the impression there was quite a period of time before they scheduled the baptism—-they’ve already done that! Now, those of us who aren’t LDS don’t even get to be a part of this, which is...
